Treatment for eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns and a wider range of difficulties
Dr Vanessa Bogle is a Chartered Psychologist and Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT), BABCP accredited. She has a Master Practitioner Diploma in Eating Disorders, including training in nutritional interventions, a BSc(Hons) in Fitness and Health and is a qualified exercise professional. Dr Bogle is also a Certified Intuitive Eating Therapist.
She specialises in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns, helping people to rebuild their relationship with food, the mind and body. A further area of expertise is helping people to adjust to and manage living with persistent physical health conditions.
Her main approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing inform her practice, to meet individual needs and preferences.
She strives to build a warm, trusting and collaborative relationship to explore difficulties and work through the best way forward to reduce distress and bring about meaningful and lasting change.
